On the betrayal of Orthodoxy and Christ (Psalms 81-82)
If you read carefully you will notice striking similarities with today’s alliances and conspiracies of the betrayers with strangers and everyone else seeking to destroy Orthodoxy. Think Ecumenism as well as all the political machinations and conspiracies (involving all those tribes named bellow) devised to deceive. They betray the people for interests foreign to Orthodoxy (failing to “deliver him [the people] out of the hand of the sinner”; sinner = those who work in secret to catch the simple people into their trap).
“Rescue the poor and needy; deliver him out of the hand of the sinner. They have not known, nor understood; they walk on in darkness. Let all the foundations of the earth be moved. I have said, Ye are gods, and all of you are the children of the Most High. But ye die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
For lo, Thine enemies have made a tumult, and they that hate Thee have lifted up the head. They have taken wicked counsel against Thy people, and consulted against Thy saints. They have said, Come, let us cut them off, that they be no more a nation, and let the name of Israel be no more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with one consent; they have made a covenant against Thee, the tents of the Idumeans and the Ismaelites, Moab and the Hagarenes, Gebal and Ammon and Amalek, and the strangers, with them that dwell at Tyre. Assur also is come with them; they have holpen the children of Lot.”
One of the princes = Judah
The new covenant was signed in Crete, to preach a new gospel (Social Gospel), and to promote a different mission for the Churches (to “save the world”).
