Patriarch of Georgia rejects ecumenist document set to be adopted at the Pan Orthodox Synod in June

A serios spanner has been thrown into the works of the upcoming heretical synod. Whether this leads to anoyher postponement, or the gathering goes ahead without Georgia remains to be seen. The 83 year old Patriarch Ilia II is holding a strong stance and all our prayers are with him and his clergy. May God give them wisdom and strenght in maintaining their position.

The opposition to this synod seems to be growing and more bishops are coming out against it. Bishop Longhin (Mihail Jar) of Banceni has also made his stance clear.
