That is what we read, a few years ago, of how an Athonite Elder described the moment when the prophecies of Elder Paisios (and other Athonite elders) would start to unfold. He said that when this moment comes, most of Greece would become unemployed overnight. That day may be nigh.

For now, the ECB’s decision means even more burden on Greece. Here is why:

“Greek banks will still have access to funds through the ECB’s emergency lending program. Under that facility, the credit risk of the loans stays on the books of the Greek central bank, and the loans carry a higher interest rate.”
