Orthodoxy bowing down to the Pope, or the Pope bowing down to World Orthodoxy ?

There has been a lot of talk about the ongoing efforts of getting Orthodoxy to bow down to the Pope. Judging by the way the events are developing we are inclined to believe the contrary – that the Pope and the Catholic Church bowing down to World Orthodoxy is a distinct possibility.

We therefore are urging our readers to keep an open mind about the subject and free themselves from the traps of stereotypical thinking. The devil is way too nimble, so please do not let yourselves just “go with the flow”.

The Pan-Orthodox synod of 2016 does not even have to require heretics to be present in order to become heretical. It is enough to just confirm some of the heretical views already present in some official Churches. Take for example the Balamand accord where some of the official Churches have already signed a document declaring the mysteries of the Catholic Church as valid:

Once such a heretical view is officially confirmed by the synod, there is no need for the Pope to attend. Instead the Pope may just use the opportunity to merge the Catholic Church into World Orthodoxy, making it thus looking as a victory of Orthodoxy over Catholicism …
