Pope’s visit to Jerusalem

There are some important developments currently under way Orthodox Christians need to be aware of, as it may appear that jesuit Pope’s visit in Jerusalem in May could become a very important moment.

Apparently, according to a number of sources, the event may be used to announce a historical “peace” accord resulting in “giving ownership of the Western Wall to the Jews, the Temple Mount to the Muslims and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and Mount Zion to the Christians“.

A peace accord may be announced between Israel and the Palestinians. Do not let yourselves be carried away by the moment, rather remember what happened to the doves pope Francis released a short few weeks ago. Think therefore twice that such a moment can rather quickly turn to disaster.

The times Elder Paisios (and others) of Mount Athos warned about seem to be at hand.

Thessalonians 5:3
“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”
