The Holy Church celebrates the Holy Martyrs of Sebaste every Great Lent. And every day of the year, the daily readings from the Octoechos, or the Triodion, include prayers to the innumerable Martyrs of the Church throughout all times, who now offer up supplication before the Heavenly Altar of God for the us Christians on earth.

Why does the Holy Church place the example of the Martyrs before us every day of the year?

It must be because this battle is the basic fight that no Christian, however sinful, can afford to lose. When asked to offer us sacrifice to the idols, the Christian absolutely cannot agree. When the forty Martyrs were offered some small earthly comfort, such as entering a hot bathhouse (instead of, for example, being trapped in an icy lake), they absolutely could not accept it, because this action entailed collaborating with the Enemy, with the idolators, with the persecutors! One soldier, already frost-bitten and exhausted, gave in, and lost – everything….he lost his salvation, his eternal life in Heaven (despite not actually agreeing to bow down to idols – he just wanted to warm himself!), and he lost his earthly life, because his body was already damaged by frostbite.

Today, the Enemy is crafty. His earthly servants do not primarily ask us to bow down to physical idol statues (although this also occurs – in the many “eastern” and “contemplative” religious groups). Instead, he asks us to….just cooperate….just not make a fuss….just accept his honours, his bodily comforts….what harm does it do anyway?….if we do not agree with him in our soul?…..to be with him and with the majority of “peaceful” people…have pity on your body….on your youth….on your beauty….on your family….etc etc….

The Church commemorates innumerable Martyrs as Saints, for example under the Turkish yoke, who before their martyrdom were not monks or even very pious – instead, they were evident sinners. However, when asked to convert to another religion, to participate in a pagan festival, or to change some small part of Christian dogma, they did not agree! They joyfully went to their death for Christ!

And yet, modern pastors cooperate with heretics, so that they can live peacefully??? And modern Christians make seemingly small compromises in their daily life, so as not to upset the unbelievers? Some perhaps repent. But repentance – according to the Fathers, should be a change of life, not only a “private regret”.

May God grant that there will be thirty-nine other Christians with us on the day of our trial, and that we all stand together as in a single body, strengthening each other and faithful to the end before God!

World Orthodoxy is positioning itself firmly for the final push towards unification with Rome. Orthodox “first hierarch” (a term totally foreign to True Orthodoxy) Patriarch Bartholomew and 3 other bishops announced they would attend the inauguration of the new pope Francis. It would be hard to not emphasize the significance of this event as this is unprecedented in the history of Orthodoxy.

Quote: “Tuesday will be a landmark day in the history of Christianity and ecumenical relations: the Ecumenical Orthodox Patriarch of Constantinople will attend Pope Francis’ installation Mass. It is the first time that such a thing has happened since the Great Western Schism in 1054”

So far, pope Francis has not spared any opportunity to “demonstrate” his piousness in exactly the same way the old pharisees did in a very public way – not away from the eyes of the many, in secret, like Orthodoxy teaches

As you may have noticed, and many of you may be actively following what is happening in the world, the situation has again started to deteriorate at an alarming pace, possibly heading towards “the moment” we have been warning about on this site. As a result we feel we need to share with you some important steps each one of us needs to consider in order to prepare. We are regretful to see that those who are in the position to speak are keeping silent.

The first thing we would like to say is that people need to try to reduce the amount of debt they are exposed to and also not to commit to any long term financial obligations in the near future. This of course should be done without creating discords in our families either.

For those of you who live in Australia and have some savings in a superannuation (pension) account (or IRA in US), and are not able to withdraw them because of not meeting the preservation age, we suggest a “Self Managed Superannuation Fund” be set up. There are a number of low cost options, most likely cheaper than the administration fees the big super funds charge, like Superannuation Warehouse who for a fee as little as $39/month will do all the legally required reporting at the end of the financial year. They will also help set up a trust for free. What is important to know is that a SMSF can have up to 4 members and the maintenance cost stays the same.

Please, where possible, do not leave any of the money you depend on inside the banking system. Wherever possible, please use it to invest in hard assets outside of the banking system !

As we mentioned above, a self managed super fund can have up to 4 members, so it is possible that up to 4 people (members of the same family, but not a requirement) can put all the money together in the same fund and be able to invest it into something tangible. Also being in a trust, it will offer the best protection in case individual persons run into trouble.

The possibility for the members of these SMSFs to associate later on in small communities should not be dismissed. Many of you who follow orthodox blogs know that there are voices out there, like that of Fr Iustin Parvu, who encourage the creation of Christian communities – please see this (in romanian).

There are those out there that will try to tell you that something like this is unorthodox – that may be exactly what they may not want you to do – prepare – and those like them have always been proven wrong by history.

The signs of the coming Orwellian state in America are everywhere nowadays: 15 Congressmen demand investigation of the massive DHS purchases of ammo over the last year, but the DHS refuses to cooperate, continues unabated with its plans, and in fact is announcing it will start scanning every bit on private communication and drones are to be deployed everywhere accross america. In September, just a mere few months away, the Death Star (NSA’s biggest spying data center) will be quite operational and the turnkey Orwellian system will be complete (also see this).

Obamacare, the centerpiece of the entire framework, will also go into full effect in Jan 2014. And it is indeed the most important piece of legislation passed within the last few years, Joe Biden himself declaring it to be a BFD! Various parts of the framework were hidden in various bills since 2008 (especially in the Stimulus Bill – see Dr Janda’s testimony bellow) which when puzzled together will reveal the whole picture. A prime example of this can be found in the new DSM regulations that now include definitions for diseases like “General Anxiety Disorder” and “Obedience Defiance Disorder” (no kidding).

The most important aspect of Obamacare is that it paves the way for the introduction of the human microchip. In assisting this new framework, Obama promised in his first inaugural address that all medical information would be moved to electronic format within 5 years (and that is what we see everywhere in the world, including in Australia).

Asked about implantable microchips on the campaign trail, Howard Dean gives some very significant insights of what Obamacare really is about, and Glenn Beck does a good job of explaining what this means. One can clearly see that they are turning the whole system into a massive spying and control network (what started in Russia will end in America).

People may remember the whole constitutional crisis episode in 2012 around the controversial decision of the Supreme Court that upheld Obamacare as constitutional in a very unexpected twist when Justice Roberts turned 180 degrees and voted for it, defying widespread belief that he would not support Obamacare, being in fact quite vocal against it in the weeks before the decision. After all people would not had been that surprised if they had known that a few years ago, when he was appointed, Justice Roberts was warned by the same Joe Biden (who called the passage of the bill a BFD as seen above) that he would be faced with such a colossal decision about implantable microchips.

As of Jan 1st 2013 doctors all accross america have started to get Obamacare compliance letters in the mailbox and many are quitting ! One of the most recognized doctors in america, who also testified to Congress, David Janda, has also quit the medical field and is warning everybody about what is coming, and what he is saying is really scary !

“The head of Cyprus’ Orthodox Church, Archbishop Chrysostomos II, has offered to mortgage the church’s assets to get Cyprus out of its financial hole.”

The Church chooses to put itself in the position where it sells it autonomy to foreign interests – a move that can be hardly explained by sound Orthodox thinking and demonstrates profound lack of understanding of the nature of the problem.

This is not the first time this Patriarch shows he does not represent the Orthodox interests: In 2010 he slammed religious groups who opposed the Pope’s visit, warning that they put themselves outside the Church.

What to expect when things start to roll …

Dear ones in Christ, we are writing this article which we know, will probably raise a lot of eyebrows, but we feel it is something people have to be warned about …

In order to be able to illustrate what we are trying to say, we will start with a short story that happened some 3 years ago in a mainstream Orthodox Church – which also happened to be the cathedral of an official Church episcopate. The parishioners of this Church had started to notice some unusual activity involving their bishop and priest being involved with catholic priests, catholic concerts being organized inside the church and other incidents. One day a catholic priest attended the service without leaving at the time when the liturgy reaches the point where the priest says the service for the catechumens. One of the parishioners approached the catholic priest at the end of the service trying to find out more about the reason why he was there. He responded he wanted to see the bishop and when asked, the bishop confirmed what the catholic priest said. What is interesting is that during the discussion with the catholic priest, the parishioner made an observation relative to ecumenism and expressed his concerns about this being a sign of the approaching of the antichrist, at which point the catholic priest made a very interesting remark: “Yes, that is right” he said, “and that is exactly why we need to be united”. This is very important because it will help understand what “the plan” is. What a revelation this remark was to that parishioner …

As people might have noticed from our other posts, we believe that a “plan” is being devised on a common response amongst all the church leaders in the world in the face of the coming world dictatorship. The iniquities will become so great and tribulations so unbearable that these leaders will have no problem in uniting in fighting this cause in spite of all doctrinal differences which will appear insignificant in comparison to the challenges the humanity will be faced with. They will be “the first responders” and will appear to be doing everything they can to protect and help their flocks, to the point where most people will join them in their fight against these “injustices”.

Little will poor people suspect that in fact these leaders will be “wolves in sheep clothing”. They will point to this dictator denouncing him in one voice and calling him “the antichrist” where the real antichrist had not yet come. When he comes he will put an end to all of these iniquities, bringing universal peace and such prosperity that people will receive him like the messiah …

Therefore we would like to take the opportunity to say to people: the way they can know who they can trust is listening to those that are warning them today, so they can prepare, before events start to unfold …

If, after seeing all that is happening in the world today, a shepherd can not sense any danger, one has to wonder how much of a spiritual life could he have, how can he be trusted to lead his flock to salvation when the real spiritual war starts?

UPDATE Mar 26 2013: What just happened in Cyprus created a really dangerous precedent: 20% of all accounts over 100000 euros has been confiscated. Moments ago, Dijsselbloem, the Head of the Eurogroup, declared Cyprus a template for the EU. That is very very dangerous because the next time word goes out that a bank is trouble in Europe it will easily start a bank run!

Also Medvedev reportedly warned all Russians to start pulling money out of western banks “as Kremlin fears grow that both the European Union and United States are preparing for the largest theft of private wealth in modern history.”

UPDATE Mar 24 2013: The situation seems to be worsening by the hour. The former head of the Cyprus Central Bank warns that The European Project Is Crashing To Earth: “This is a fundamental change in the dynamics of Europe towards disintegration and I don’t see how this can be reversed. “

UPDATE Mar 20 2013: The next few days are crucial. As suspected, the powers that be are preparing to use Cyprus to start the circus and are now threatening to let Cyprus go (just like they let Lehman Brothers go). Also, Germany’s finance minister has warned Cyprus that its crisis-stricken banks may never be able to reopen if it rejects the terms of a bailout.

Seeing what is happening today in Europe makes one wonder: what did Romano Prodi, one of the chief architects of the Euro, mean when he said:

“I am sure the euro will oblige us to introduce a new set of economic policy instruments. It is politically impossible to propose that now. But some day there will be a crisis and new instruments will be created.”

In fact a very interesting article was published in “The Wall Street Journal” in 2011 that suggests just that: Euro was created with an expectation to fail.

It seems impossible to a normal person to digest the recent events around the Cyprus bailout. Many still wonder in awe, how was it possible that the IMF and the EU to even consider asking depositors pay for the mistakes of bankers? Were they not thinking what the implications could be? The reactions are overwhelming, Nigel Farage says get your money out of those banks now, and the outrage is shared by many other – here is what Daniel Hannan had to say.

The following article seems to provide a good evaluation of the critical state of things at this point. It really seems that someone is really trying to put a spanner in the works. The damage has already been done and the situation is absolutely critical – the banks are currently closed (banking holiday declared for this week) and the risk of complete bank runs when they open is enormous:

Quote: “Cyprus will run out of cash on 3 June, when it has to repay a €1.4bn international bond. However, the decision will need to be taken long before that. Cypriot banks cannot stay closed for long but they cannot be reopened until a decision is taken, otherwise there will almost certainly be a deposit run. While people can reportedly withdraw up to €700 per day from ATMs, businesses, large and small, cannot function without banks being open. We would expect some decision would need to be taken by early next week before the lack of liquidity and lack of economic activity begins to severely harm the Cypriot economy.”

What does the NO vote in the parliament of Cyprus mean ?

Given the direct involvement of Russia (Cyprus is considered to be Russia’s tax heaven where many oligarchs keep their money), Turkey and Greece (both having opposing interests in the island which has been at the heart of a long and bitter dispute), any significant development in this part of the world is of direct interest to Orthodox Christians.

Russia’s particular interest in this matter is alarming and Jim Sinclair (also known as Mr Gold) has been very vocal for the last few days in trying to show how this is really all about the currency war between east and west with gold being the ultimate winner. He has this to say: There is no question now that there is a paradigm shift in gold toward the physical market. A paradigm shift in the longevity of the paper futures markets, which as I said before will now move towards a physical market. The West will end up losing control of the ability to manipulate the gold market much sooner as a result of this debacle in Cyprus. King World News, a blog that is doing an excellent job in showing what is really happening in the gold markets, has more relevant interviews with Jim Sinclair and many others.

Because of the size of the banking sector compared to its small economy, any upset of the fragile banking stability in Cyprus can have dire consequences. If a bank run was to start it would almost immediately hit Greece hard due to its exposure to banks in Cyprus, and rapidly propagate through Europe. Just imagine what could happen if the Russians were to decide to flee and withdraw their savings. The problem would be devastating due to high leverage ratios of the Cypriot banks where if just 100 billion were to be taken out (for example) it would immediately start a 2 trillion euro tsunami throughout Europe (because of the principles of Fractional Reserve Banking).

A new scandal is just about to rock america that has the potential to equal Climategate !

Instead, we see how modern Christians, without understanding, follow the unbelieving multitudes in lifestyle, thinking this way “normal” and “good” – not really realising it is the “wide road which leads to perdition”

One example is the modern worship of the body and sport. Sports activities are popular on Sunday mornings, when we should be in the Church of God. Children are obliged to take part in sports training on Sunday mornings, and their parents dutifully follow them.

One pious woman on her way to church, on seeing the Sunday morning joggers, remarked “….They’re running…running…! Running straight into the abyss!”
