In Russia …

Is Mr Putin’s goal really about trying to defend Orthodoxy or kill the West and the dollar? The difference between these two goals is as big as the world, and is exactly the point we have been trying to make for a long time. If the goal is indeed that of protecting Orthodoxy then we can see great hope in what is currently happening in Russia, but if Mr Putin is just part of the long established elite plan to destroy the dollar and bury the West, then that is a completely different thing, totally un-Orthodox in nature. People need to be vigilant and not let themselves be carried away by the spirit of having justice done just for the purpose of justice itself (therefore being nothing more than revenge or retaliation), and not for the Glory of our Lord Jesus Christ who said “Revenge is Mine“.

About this trap of “seeking own justice” we wrote on other occasions in the past. If Russia wants to really step in a true Orthodox direction, it must not do things in retaliation against the West. Unfortunately that is hardly the impression one gets by looking at the whole picture today, including the creation of the unholy alliance of BRICS which has nothing Orthodox in nature, on the contrary, it is a communist idea of joining the enemies of my enemy.

Rather than going the way it seems she has chosen, Russia should probably isolate herself from the world and not put her hope in earthly alliances but rather in God. The West will implode on its own weight anyway. If the West wants anything from Russia, have them pay in Rubles. Russia does not need much from the West anyway to survive on its own, as we have recently seen with the ban on food imports from the West, which is poisonous food anyway. The West wants to get Russia to retaliate and provocation should remain un-responded to.

Again it comes down to the same Orthodox principle of doing the right thing for the right purpose, outside of which there is no Orthodoxy.

The Marxist revolutionaries that have taken over the US government are becoming more brazen than ever. The very own architect of the UN doctrine of “Responsibility to Protect” which has already “successfully” been applied in Egypt, Lybia and elsewhere, strikes again. The George Soros’ puppet, who also happens to be Cass Sunstein’s wife (coincidence?), has just warned that further intervention in Ukraine by Russia will be seen as “invasion”, and one can infer, this will trigger the provisions of the “Responsibility to Protect” doctrine to be effective immediately. We often ask ourselves, who is really the invader of Ukraine, and why are the principles of this doctrine applied selectively? Also, why has the Obama administration hesitated for so long to intervene against ISIS, and when they do they drop a couple of bombs just to be seen as doing something? Anyway …

There we have it all. It does indeed make it look legitimate for Russia to retaliate, and do not be surprised if they do.

There is one aspect though, again, that is worrying to the mind of an Orthodox Christian that tries to look deeper into things, and who is generally not satisfied with the superficial explanations of “shallow” Orthodoxy. Why does Russia need to go into any form of unholy alliance with entities such as China to achieve her so stated goals of “defending Christianity worldwide”? The ancient nation of Israel, the God’s chosen people of the Old Testament, never felt the need to form any alliance. The simple promise of God to deliver them of all adversities and defeat all their enemies in exchange to remaining faithful was always the key. The same principle applied to Orthodox Christianity, God’s chosen people of the New Testament (who have inherited that which has been taken away from the bad vineyard workers), during the Byzantine Empire and the Tsarist Russia of latter times. For Orthodox Russia to seek unholy alliances such as with China and BRICS under the excuse of defeating the enemies of God does not represent a sound Orthodox doctrine at all. Orthodoxy does not mean “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” under any circumstance! Instead such pursuits do seem more fit for the explanation that the current authorities (both political and religious) in Russia are not seeking to defend Orthodoxy as a primary objective, but rather the whole of “Christianity” as they themselves have stated their goal was. That is a fundamental shift that is ecumenist in nature, and fits very well with the danger we have been trying to present for a long time: that of trying to form a common front of all Christians, regardless of doctrinal differences, in the name of fighting against the evil of the West …

Our Holy Fathers of Orthodoxy have always stressed the importance of doing the right thing for the right purpose, a principle outside of which there is no Orthodoxy. This understanding is very fundamental to the Faith, and one could say it really forms the base of Orthodox Christianity. We are often thought in the Church that we need to do the good things outside of the public eye, in secret, so that when we do it we are not trying to justify ourselves before the eyes of the World but rather before the eyes of the Heavenly Father.

Doing the right thing for the wrong reason is precisely the difference between genuine Orthodoxy and World Orthodoxy that has fallen under charismatic revival influences. As opposed to genuine Orthodoxy, World Orthodoxy likes to boast itself in itself, not for the glory of God, but for its own glory.

This is exactly the trap Mr Putin and World Orthodoxy he represents seem to have fallen in, unfortunately, and the devil knows exactly how to exploit this kind of weakness. Rather than seeing the trap, they go right in it.

Why? Take for example the recent developments in Ukraine. As we showed right from the start of the hostilities, the focus should had been primarily about preserving Orthodoxy – not about appointing themselves as the saviors of all Christians worldwide (that is rather an ambitious plan stemming from pride), but focusing on saving Orthodoxy for the sake of saving the True Faith. If anyone else wants to be saved they should come back to Orthodoxy. But this is precisely the problem, being concerned with justifying themselves and their actions before the eyes of the world, rather than before the Heavenly Father. They want to be seen as the saviors, and the media is doing an extremely good job at helping with this. It is sad to see important Orthodox commentators that do an extremely good job on uncovering the plots of the West, only to just fall right into the trap at the other end.

There was indeed a window of opportunity that was unfortunately missed, and the devil has used its cunning ways one again to make things much more complicated – it just understood exactly how to exploit this vulnerability. What the devil did was to orchestrate this whole false flag MH17 event that has just put Putin in a corner from where it is going to be hard to come out in a true Orthodox way – the devil made it Putin’s personal war now, even if it may not be Mr Putin’s fault at all. It is now Putin vs The West. The entire western media is blaming Putin personally in one voice, and that is going to make it very difficult for Mr Putin to do anything about it, without it being seen as a matter of personal revenge – the least Orthodox option of all.

If Mr Putin does indeed do something, it will now most certainly be the right thing for the wrong purpose, and it is indeed the purpose that matters. If Mr Putin is going to go and invade Eastern Ukraine, or take any sort of measures against the West, it will most likely be seen as a reaction to the personal accusations of the West against him, thus doing much harm to Orthodoxy he supposedly represents.

Alternatively, if Mr Putin does nothing, the devil will become even more emboldened, and the voices screaming for a response will only grow louder. Not doing anything only means suffering for the Orthodox Christians in Ukraine, at the hands of apostate West, will reach new levels. If he does nothing, he will be seen as a “weak” leader, just like his counter-party in the US. Difficult situation indeed.

Unfortunately with Mr Putin having already established himself as a bare-chested Hollywood Western movie hero who is capable of taking all matters into his own hands (the sort of new Chuck Norris or Rambo of the East), the true Orthodox options become very limited. Already being seen as an “Orthodox” president who needs to be escorted by Russia’s Doomsday Plane just to see his spiritual father for advise, and encouraging the media to make it widely known, are all elements that make up an “Orthodox” leader’s image that will be very hard to undo.
