A new wonder: Myrrh bearing photo of Father Justin Parvu

On 25 July 2013, around 23, close to the time that Father passed away, 40 days ago, Father Justin comforted us with a miracle in his Paltin Monastery cell where he spent the last three years of his life and where he passed away. Father’s memorial cell was opened for visitors as of 25 July. On the Father’s chair from where he used to anoint the visiting faithful in the last years, is placed a picture with the image of Father Justin, in natural size, blessing the faithful. On 25 July, while a hieromonk and lay faithful were praying in his cell, from the Father’s hand, which used to bless the believers, started to flow myrrh.

The miracle was repeated the next day in the morning, while pilgrims were visiting the cell and memorial museum dedicated to Father Justin Parvu. They were not only visiting, but spent a few minutes praying on their knees in front of the chair where the father used to spend most of the day, listening to the troubles and sorrows of men. And the blessed Father, as if to convince us he still does that, sent us this wonderful sign of faith and to comfort us.

Holy Father Justin, pray for us sinners!
