Why was Blessed George Calciu’s hand moving?

As we have witnessed just a few days ago, Blessed George’s calciu body was found completely incorrupt 7 years after being buried.

In our previous article we mentioned how the Blessed’s hand is seen moving under the vestments as he lays in the coffin. What could this mean? The answer may be found in Blessed George Calciu’s Akathist, which was composed long before his exhumation, where we can read that he used to do the sign of Cross in his sleep on his death bed! In Ikos 12 we can read:

Quote: “Bucură-te, că pe patul morții fața ta mirosea a tămîie și strălucea ca-n icoane, revărsînd dragostea și prezența lui Dumnezeu, iar în somn, mîna singură, fără conștiință, făcea semnul crucii, arătînd în afară ceea ce erai în lăuntru, un om răstignit împreună cu Hristos

Translated in English:

“Rejoice, that on your death bed your face was emanating incense odors and was radiant just like in an icon, revealing God’s love and presence, and in your sleep, your hand alone, without your knowledge, was doing the sign of Cross, showing outwardly what you were inside, a man crucified together with our Lord Jesus Christ”

What are they going to do next? Change the Akathist maybe?
